The TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS is back on Sunday 30 August 2026, and this year it's bigger than ever. The event has officially joined the Abbott World Marathon Majors, putting Sydney alongside cities like New York, London, and Tokyo on the world marathon map.
More than 40,000 runners will take on the course, which passes through some of Sydney’s best-known spots, including Moore Park and Centennial Park, before finishing at the Sydney Opera House. Whether you're running, cheering, or just enjoying the atmosphere, it’s set to be a fun, high-energy day with plenty of live entertainment, food, and community spirit.
