We operate under the Ports and Maritime Administration Act 1995, to keep our ports safe for shipping, secure for everyone and to protect port environments.
Effective 1 April 2026, our legal entity name changed from ‘Newcastle Port Corporation’ to ‘Port Authority of New South Wales’
