Working with communities

Port Authority is committed to working with the communities where we operate. We are a proud sponsor of a variety of events including Australia Day and a number of local community initiatives such as the Eden Whale Festival.

We maintain relationships with our local communities via a number of initiatives including community liaison groups, stakeholder engagement groups and community newsletters.

Community collaboration

Port Authority hosts quarterly meetings with port community representatives from Bays Port (Glebe Island and White Bay) and Port of Eden. These meetings provide a platform for feedback, discussion of concerns, and consultation on projects and development.

We also participate in community committees supporting Port Botany, Port Kembla and Port of Newcastle.
