In addition to delivering strong financial results, we’ve made significant progress in enhancing operational efficiency, supported a resurgence of cruise and achieved a reduction of Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions to zero.

    In this issue, we celebrate significant milestones across several of our ambitious projects, each reinforcing our unwavering commitment to sustainability and innovation. From awarding the major contract to deliver Shore Power to the White Bay Cruise Terminal, to completing the 12-month restoration of the iconic Hornby Lighthouse, and launching our first major rooftop solar panel system in Newcastle, we are making great strides in improving our infrastructure and reducing environmental impact.

    Our teams continue to be prepared and develop their skills to respond to emergency situations and for good reason. As demonstrated just this week, Port Authority crews on board our new multipurpose firefighting vessel Girawaa supported Fire and Rescue NSW with an onwater response to extinguish a barge fire at Berrys Bay on Sydney’s north shore. Our role was critical in fighting the fire and preventing damage to the historic SS South Steyne ferry berthed nearby.
