Foodies cruise Overseas Passenger Terminal for taste sensations during Vivid Sydney

Sydney’s Overseas Passenger Terminal (OPT) has become a hub for food lovers with the precinct hosting an array of mouthwatering cuisines offered by 26 incredible vendors during Vivid Sydney 2024.

Port Authority of NSW Acting Venue Manager Karlene Jones says the first week of Vivid Sydney has been huge as visitors enjoy the transformed OPT, which is now a bustling foodies and community hub offering flavours from around the world with a fun festival vibe for all 23 nights of the event.

“We’ve taken over the car park and roadway at OPT to create a family-friendly area where you can grab a bite to eat. We have everything from wood fired pizzas and fresh pasta, to dumplings, chips on a stick, watermelon ice cream and more available.”

“OPT is a great location to stop by, as it’s right in the heart of Sydney Harbour. Visitors can stop for a snack or dinner, then continue west to see the light installations at Walsh Bay and Barangaroo or walk around Circular Quay and see the lights on the Sydney Opera House up close.”

The food trucks at OPT will be open every evening until 15 June.
