Introducing OnePort: a single port management system for NSW

During 2021 and 2022, Port Authority will build a new port management system to replace three legacy systems in place:

OnePort will be designed, delivered, and managed by Port Authority. The new system is being built by a cross-functional group of dedicated subject matter experts at Port Authority – including Harbour Masters, Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) operators and other marine operations staff. It is not an off-the-shelf project.

Port Authority is working with system users to understand user needs and requirements. This consultation is ongoing and will continue over the life of the project. Training will be provided to all impacted users ahead of the rollout.

OnePort will be hosted on the cloud. Work will commence to create standards as well as the platforms for data sharing. The base product will be web-based. An app is planned for the advanced product.
